Himmelwright & Huguley, LLC is a professional services firm. Jim Himmelwright and Hal Huguley founded the firm in Opelika, AL in the late 1990's. John Boles joined the firm in 2001 and became a partner in 2003. In May of 2003, the firm opened its second office in Auburn, AL. The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Public Accountants. While the majority of the firm's clients are located in the Auburn-Opelika area, the firm's growth has extended throughout Alabama and reached into Georgia and Florida.
The firm was founded on the principal of attracting individuals that are committed to building a successful team and dedicated to serving clients through building strong long-lasting relationships. Consequently, each professional's talents compliment those talents of the other professionals consummately. The firm's experience includes eight years of big-five experience, eleven years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service and over forty-five years of experience in public accounting at the local and regional levels. The firm's broad range of experience combined with its small size allow our team members to provide their clients with the highest level of professional service while also enabling them to provide that service in a responsive and effective manner.
